Hey Mel! I was hoping you could help me out.
My Dad had hip surgery today and is in the Pasqua in Regina so I wanted to send him some flowers. The online flower shops suuuuck, and they want $50 for a dozen tulips. wtf.
Anyway, do you know any good florists in Regina that I could call and know that they wouldn't send him a piece of crap?

Hi! I sure hope your dad is ok, and that his surgery went well. Do you know how long they plan to keep him in the hospital?
I love Wascana Flower Shop on Victoria Ave (just google them). They are, IMO, the best in the city! You may want to check about whether they allow flowers on the ward. My mom was on 2 different wards at another hospital and they wouldn't allow her to have flowers b/c nurses/patients were allergic. It would be a shame if you spent the money and he wasn't able to enjoy them.
Good call - I asked and he's not allowed to have flowers. boo.
I sent mom a picture of DS to frame and put in the room instead. Thanks for the rec though - I'll remember for next time!
