RP: WWYD re Violation on Home

On Saturday, a private company wrote to us saying they could help remove violations for a fee. So, I went online and checked and found that we indeed got two violations from the city (we never got official letter from the city).

The violations are for bar/club in garage and garage constructed without permit. We do not have a garage. As a matter of fact, we do not even have a shed. We have nothing in our backyard, well except some junk. I called the city and they said we needed to come to court hearing to clear our names. I took photos on our still snow covered backyard but have no other ideas as to what to do.

We do have lots of junk at the back of our house like planks, old tiles etc. due to the renovatons, which we were planning on getting a shed in March to store them in and also waiting for better weather to clean back there. But no garage. What else would you do to strengthen your case?

I think pictures should be enough. If not, they can send an inspector out to your house to see what is there.

Hmm, a bar in your garage??? Where are you hiding the party!? :-)

Whatever you do, don't pay somebody to get them cleared for you. My boss is over my shoulder so I'll get into it more later, but this something that I could do for you, but you could really do yourself.
