DH's aunt is pretty high up in Tesla (all electric cars) We were very worried that she was on their plane that crashed last week. She's a wonderful woman. Luckily, she was not! T&P for the families of the people who were.

Good thread! Hmm, something good - I know. my Dh's trucks' transmission is going out and his other car keeps overheating (not so good), BUT my dad's gf is GIVING him a car with only 80k miles on it!!! It's so nice of her to do this. It was her late husbands car and she won't drive it because of the memories so it works out for us.

I am so excited for this weekend - my two sisters are coming and we are having a girls weekend. We plan to go "little store" shopping in all the nearby towns, out for lunch at a bistro, out for supper at a nice itallian resturant, and just hang out (with wine of course).

And I found out that I am going to be a great aunt again TWICE! Two of my nephew's wives are pg, and they are brothers. My sister is becoming a grandma way faster then she expected LOL!

Besides having a baby really soon, I'm excited to finalize our plans for Greece this summer. Can't wait!

I'm going to visit my brother, SIL, niece and 2 nephews in Atlanta. Tomorrow! I'm helping watch the kiddos while my SIL packs for their move next week. So excited to see them!

I'm going back to Kansas on Friday for the weekend to meet my new niece. Which will also be her christening. and Chad and I are the god parents. I'm a little nervous about it but I'm super stoked to meet baliey and love on her and her sister chloe. This time I have put my foot down and am making everyone come see me. I'm not doing the whole back and fourth from my family to Dh's. (2 hour drive) Since it's such a short trip I just invited the inlaws to join us. So it should be relaxing and fun. but we shall see.

Our dishwasher caught on fire last weekend (yes, this is something good) and our home warranty condemned it so we get a new one for free! It was 35 yrs old so it had a good run. Since our oven was condemned last month we are on our way to all new appliances for free!

Last night we went to dinner with my IL's (BIL & SIL included) and everyone got along. No bickering, no finger pointing, no low blows or backhanded compliments. It was nice. I didn't leave feeling like I needed to stop off at a bar for a stiff drink.

Great idea!!!

We should be getting our tax refund this week and it's going to pay off so many bills that we should hopefully be able to save up enough money to start looking at houses this summer! We're so excited
