Please pray for our family
We have had a really tough 7 months! My MIL passed away of cancer in July, my 24 year old cousin passed away of H1N1 in December, DH's grandmother died in January, my aunt passed away at the beginning of the month and now his 35 year old cousin attempted suicide on Friday, was unsuccessful on her first attempt, but then she was taken to the hospital and admitted then hung herself while in the hospital! Her husband walked in her room to find her dead when he arrived on Saturday. They were able to revive her and she's been on a Vent and feeding tube etc.. ever since. I think the family was holding out all hopes that her brain wasn't damaged, but today the news came from the neuro. that she's in a vegitative state and he sees no sign of any changes coming any time soon. We are praying for a miracle tonight and if there are no changes by tomorrow morning they have decided to honor her wishes and turn off the machines. She was just married in October and seemed to me to be happier recently than I ever remembered her being. I just don't really know what to think anymore with all the death surrounding our family. I am holding out all hopes that a miracle will come overnight and tomorrow when we get to the hospital at 8am she will have improved. Her husband is staying with her tonight, he has asked that he have some alone time with her, but tomorrow is going to be a very tough day for the entire family.

What a truly horrible time you and your family have had. I'm so sorry for the pain and sadness all of you are experiencing. I pray that all of you are able to achieve some type of peace as you all struggle to deal with everything you've been through and are going through.

This is my first time on the board, but I do want to say that I'm thinking about you and your family.
That is so much to go through in such a short amount of time.
