Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Doctors suck
I think I have said this a time or two before. Remember the fiasco about getting D's SA results? Yeah, well I had to get all of my records to see the specialist tomorrow. I put in a request two weeks ago and never heard anything. I called them to check on it and they wanted me to come in and fill out another release form. So I did and then they told me yesterday that it would take 7 - 10 business days. WTF? I go to the dr TOMORROW people. I need them now.
So I call this morning and they tell me that the medical records chic only works part time and they don't know when she will be in or her schedule. WTH!? Sounds like a great job, I want to do that. Finally I hunt down someone who will help me and she just called back and they were able to do it. Thank goodness.....BUT....
FORTY FRIGGIN BUCKS. $40 for 35 sheets of paper. FLUCKIN ridiculous.

Yup, that is the standard fee. But she did tell me that she cut me a deal since she didnt copy my miscarriage u/s pictures seperatley.

This. I had my fill of it this past summer trying to get my records (it also cost me about $30 for 20 pages) and then dealing with insurance coding nightmares.
Ugh, I'm so sorry you had to deal with that...as if you needed something else, right? I'm glad you got the records and they didn't make you wait that 7-10 days or whatever crap they initially said. GL tomorrow!!!

Scarlett's doc has e-files. He updates the system as he talks to us and gives us a printout when he's done. I hope more docs go that direction. It's very convenient.
I never understood why you had to pay for copies of your records. I'd be like, gimme those bad boys and I'll take them to kinkos and get them copied for under $5.
