Good news (adoption related)
We got a letter from our agency today stating that all paperwork has been sent to the Mecklenburg Courts for the final Decree of Adoption! YAY! So now we will just be stalking the mail for the final decree to arrive! Once the decree has been issued, Vital Records will work on issuing Abby her new birth certificate. But we were made aware thanks to the wonderful government of NC and budget cuts that it could take 6 months (or longer) before we receive Abby's birth certificate. Boo to that but as long as we have that finalization in our hands we are happy campers
