Sorry for another BR post ladies...
So my appt. was yesterday afternoon and I went in so excited to finally get some confirmation of some sort
Well, once the physical was over my Dr. put the doppler on me, down really low I might add... and the heartbeat didn't come... she tried for a while but said it may be too early and that it's perfectly normal and not to worry. I have to say I was disappointed as I was really hoping to hear it. MH was on his way from work (a 45 min drive away) and missed the appt. because of bad weather/traffic (he was hoping to show up for the end and hear the heartbeat with me). I was sad when I called him and told him he left work early for nothing... I guess I felt bummed. So now they have me scheduled for an ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. I'm excited for that and really hope all is well with the LO.
Re: BR: F/U on heartbeat appt., baby didn't want to be heard?

I agree! Baby wants daddy to be able to hear him ;-). I think it's cool you'll be able to have u/s sooner! GL!

Aw I'm sorry hon, that sucks. But dopplers really are tricky - like I said before, my OBGYN struggled to get Twin B's heartbeat for several minutes last time because he was in a bad position and because I have an anterior placenta (so the scan has to go through extra tissue)...and that was at 29 weeks!
So look on the bright side - you get an ultrasound and get to SEE your baby, yaaaay!
