2010 has been...

Just curious how everyones year is going thus far, other than marrying our best friends/loves of our lives...?

Re: 2010 has been...

  • My year has been pretty rough since we returned from our Honeymoon. Had what I thought was food poisoning while we were in Seattle just 10 days after we returned from our honeymoon- only to end up having emergency surgery 5 days after that.  All that craziness lead to me being extremely far behind in grad school (missed 8 days!).  Finally caught up the week before last- then got a phone call last Wednesday that my Uncle just had a brain aneurysm and I needed to get to Orlando ASAP- didnt look good.

Other than the craziness outside of our marriage- we've been great though! We're just hoping 2010 calms down now  ;0) We love being married and have discussed how we both catch ourselves looking at our rings and love that they're there and what they represent!

  • other than the wedding and HM, 2010 has been uneventful and far calmer than 2009! i have so much spare time i am becoming bored! *gasp!*
  • 2010 has been insane and non stop for us.  In the first 3 months of this year we will have: 1) gotten married 2) gone to Dinsney World 3) totaled a car 4) purchaed a car 5)sold a home (or at least trying, hopefully it sells soon) 6) moved acorss the country and 7) both started new jobs. I just hope it calms down once we are settled in at our new base.

  • Wow, Starjay!  Things sure have been busy for you! Hope it calms down ;0)
  • 2010 (besides getting married) has been very boring. I am trying to find a job, but am hesitant because H will be getting his orders soon. this means a move... I hope 2010 picks up in excitement!

  • .... a totally different experience for me.  We got married, had a fantastic HM, then moved out of the country.  Now things have calmed down here and are really boring.  In two months we're moving back to the States (yay!) so we have find housing.  Things will get crazy again mid-April to mid-May.

  • Squishy...where'd you move?
  • ...quite crazy. Compared to the joy of the wedding, the past 5 weeks have really blown for us. We never see each other due to our schedules, and we're both pretty "meh" about our jobs. We've started thinking about moving back to Massachusetts to be near our parents so we can settle in long before starting a family.
  • CRAZY!!!

of course wedding was only 3 weeks ago, family and friends finally left ( we have had 1 night alone since being married!!!....H filed bankrupcy (isn't that just freakin great!!!) ...otherwise working 19hr days to get enough money together for honeymoon....5 more sleeps till we leave for Vietnam...need to some how get some lanudry done and packed .....and i am desperate for a pedicure and manicure....so tired...

  • wow some of you have had crazy years so far!

Mine has been busy. Not really crazy out of the ordinary, but just busy. DH works crazy hours because he's in sales, so he goes wherever, whenever. I am in a super intense grad program so I go to studio around 6 am and come home around 2 am usually. I try to make it home so we can eat dinner together, work out, and then I go back. It's usually the only time we see each other during the day. I'm dying for some together time with him. I'm applying for internships and summer jobs right now so I can help contribute to the income around here.

  • busy, exciting and lonely. DH and I work different shifts for our full time jobs, he working extra hours for the weekend and I also have a part-time job and going to school part-time. Doesn't leave much time for us. But it is great when we do get 'our time'.

I am jealous of you girls who have gone or have already planned your honeymoons. Because of my schooling, we haven't planned ours yet. But we do know where we want to go though. So we are saving up for it for now.

Squishy is my husband, I'm the Panda part of that sn, lol

We moved to Grand Bahama Island.  DH goes to school at Ross University so he's doing two semesters here (which is after the two semesters he did in Dominica in West Indies that I wasn't there for, thank goodness!)  We're moving to Miami last week in April, but will only be there for four months.  Then we don't know.

One can only hope. LOL We'll see what life holds for us at our new base. I'm thinking, however, that by the time we get settled in and I'm done job hunting it will be summer and we'll have been married several months! LOL
