I'm taking a personal day from school. I went this morning at 8, cramps were so bad by 12 that I'm home in bed watching Step Up 2 and nesting.
On the plus side I get my Mirena tomorrow so I don't have to worry about babies for 5 years. Woohoo!
Re: anyone here?
Yup, I am here. And sorry to hear you aren't having a good day. I hope you will feel better soon.
It's going to sound strange, but I wish I have at least some kind of cramps. My period is late and hoping I am not pg. It's the first cycle off the pill so I hope it's just the timing that is off.
lol a week ago I was hoping the same thing. I had to find a new gyn and at my consult they pregnancy tested me (It had been about 3 months since I'd had a period b/c of stress)...let me tell you, I was about as freaked out as they come because baby hadn't crossed my mind. Thankfully it was negative. Now a week later I have the dreaded cramps.
Yeah BC probably has your cycle off. Do you mind me asking - are you TTC or are you just trying other BC methods? I researched for 3 months and talked to 2 gyns before I decided to go to Mirena. I'm not a huge fan of hormonal BC b/c I become a gigantic ***.
We have been using other methods right now as we plan on trying this summer. Just want my body to be rid of the pill or any other type of bc. I've been on the pill for 17 years with only a couple months off due to a couple surgeries. The cycles always have been regular with out a miss. Hopefully it's just the stress of moving, the wedding, and school that has it wacked.
Mus- good luck with the Mirena tomorrrow! It's a quick process, is a tad uncomfortable, but has a great result. Just wanted to let you know that you have to be patient with it- which I'm sure your doctor has told you- sometimes it takes a couple cycles for your body to adjust to it. GL!! :0)
Aw, thank you- thats very sweet of you.
GL tomorrow! Report back on how you're feeling! :0)
