Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. worlds most annoying office...
i work in it. so far today...
1. someone microwaved fish... ew.
2. someone else burnt popcorn in the microwave to the point where the bag almost caught on fire (this happens at least once a week)
3. the spring break tour guys are using a circular saw causing not only noise but the smell of wood burning... yessss.
4. the spring break tour guys testing out the microphones for tour.. "test.. test 1, 2..." listen guys.. i have phone calls to make and i can't make them with ur loud @$$es and ur sawing.. dont you have your OWN warehouse for this crap?
5. tour guys had warehouse bay doors open for about 3 hours to load a truck in 35-40 degree weather..
6. they also were spraying some kind of spray paint/adhesive INDOORS while the bay doors were closed.. UMMMMM HEEELLOOOO??
7. The guy in the office next to my cube is calling people all day on SPEAKERPHONE. (this is a daily occurence)
8. 4 people have already asked me when i'm out on maternity leave even though i've have told them several times i'm not due until April 20th and I wont really decide or know until i talk to my dr.
9. my "manager" asked me for the 4th time in 2 months what I'm having... i know he's old and senile but stop asking lol.
10. if one more person walks by me and stares into my cube i might trip them
11. there is a guy who constantly whistles.. i got rid of the lady who hummed all the time.. only to replace her with a whistler.
Dont get me wrong, I'm thankful to have a job but sometimes i just want to scream by the time i leave this place lol. I have a few other coworkers who at least feel the same way... my one CW was just peeved bc someone used the last of his tape and didn't replace it and then stole his scissors. I feel like i'm in that movie Office Space sometimes.

I know these aren't supposed to be funny but it is a little funny.
I don't know if whistling or humming is worse.... There is no way I could deal with either. I would kill them and hide their bodies in the parking deck.

im not gonna lie.. it does make me laugh a little inside but come on people lol I'm so glad i'm going to be on leave in a few short weeks.. i need a break from this place
Yeah, those are a lot of the reasons why I don't think I would last in an office job! I have to agree though- kinda funny from the outside looking in.
ML will be a good change! Chances are, Gio won't be able to whistle or hum! Haha
I feel ya on the paint thing. They've been doing construction right next to my cube and thankfully they are done. But then came painting. Inside. Door closed. I'm cool with the door part cause its already freezing in here and the door is also right by me but the smell was slightly overwhelming.
