DH & I along with another friend just got back from seeing this new Spike Lee movie. I really enjoyed it. The two guys said it was okay.
I knew from the commercials it would be a pretty good drama but I didn't expect so much of it to be set in the war. I hope I am not giving too much away but even the ads reference back to WW II. And it does have a good bit of war violence in case that bothers anyone.
I still give it a thumbs up though!
Re: NER: Miracle at St. Anna
Let me clarify it is set in more in war time than the previews would you leave you to believe. And yes there are bloody scenes but overall the movie is not in a battlefield setting. Overall there is more story not involving fighting. It is a 2 1/2 hour movie. I just wanted to warn those who do feel uncomfortable with violence that there will be some in it and some of those scenes are a bit intense.
Well maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm not a big Spike Lee fan.
