Ok, since this board has been a little dead lately I thought I'd share this. I'm sure most of you have heard about Joannie Rochette a figure skater from Canada who was set to compete in the Olympics starting yesterday (Tuesday). Her parents were there to see her compete and on Sunday her mother died suddenly of a heart attack. Rochette decided to skate last night and if you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out. She did a great job, but beyond that the way the audience supported her was really great. I can't imagine going through what she has and being able to keep as much composure as she did prior to and throughout the performance (she does, very understandably break-down post performance).
