Need Fashion Help
I normally have no problem accessorizing, but I bought this dress for my shower and I'm stumped! The color did not translate well into these photos (the one on the far right probably has the most accurate white balance). The background and slip are sort of a grey-blue (not black) and the pattern is not pure white, but a cream color.

My main problem is shoes. I'm not really a fan of white/off white shoes. I was thinking maybe something in a metallic. I'll be wearing a hat, because I mourn not living in the days when women usually did, so the shower has a vintage tea party theme. Hat will most likely be off white.
How would you accessorize this? Or should I scrap it and go for a dress that is easier and better fits the vintage theme in general?

That's a beautiful dress. I think it would look good with a pair of purple opens toes. As far as other accessories, since you are wearing a hat, I would skip the earrings or do a simple studs, and wear a long necklace.

I like these! I like the purple suede ones below too but when I think suede I think fall and winter and since spring is right around the corner, these would go better with the dress.
I went to a Jr league fashion event today at Nieman Marcus (so not a place I shop) and they said that nude was the new black this year so maybe you could try that. Personally I like the idea of a cute silver shoe.

Thanks ladies! FI's mom decided to share some family stuff with me, so I'll be wearing a cream colored vintage pillbox hat and his grandmother's pearls. Its not exactly the look I was thinking of, but I couldn't pass up the sweet gesture. I love the idea of purple shoes, but I already own 2 pairs of purple that wouldn't go and I think 3 pairs of purple shoes might be too much!
The nude suggestion is great. I never think of nude shoes.
