Am I the only one annoyed with McCain's "laugh?"

I understand he's trying to do the "oh, you're so dumb making that point" thing, but IMO, it comes off like he's laughing at the subject matter in general... There was one time in particular that seemed thoroughly inappropriate - troop death counts, I think? Anyone with me?

P.S. I'm a little drunk, so I apologize if that wasn't clear what I really mean.

Re: Am I the only one annoyed with McCain's "laugh?"

  • I didn't catch that so much as his smile...he's got that creepy old man smile. It's not a genuine one, it's extremely fake and makes him look even more untrustworthy, IMO.

  • Ehh, I think we're each annoyed by the opposite candidate's mannerisms tonight.
  • Yeah I'm hoping his handlers will get that smirk off his face for future debates. ?It wasn't as bad as Bush's signature sh!t-eating grin, but there's room to clean that up for sure.

  • Yes!  And I think it's creepy...something about his laugh really creeps me out...not to mention he laughs at awkward and inappropriate times.
  • I totally agree. ?Hated it!!

I really hope so, too... like I said in my OP, there was one particular time that he outright chuckled, and while I understood what he was trying to convey, it seemed like he was actually laughing at the clusterf#ck that was the subject of the point made... I wish I remember exactly which point it was. D@mn you, rum & coke!!!

  • I agree-I do not like when anyone smiles or laughs during debates.  McCain needs to alter that one.  I am adding Obama's laugh/goofy grin at the end--handlers need to help him lose that mannerism.

  • A McCain laugh does not stand out for me. But a McCain smirk sure does.
