Whiiiiiiiiine. I'm over this week. And it's snowing again. Usually I'd be a fan, but it will just mean impassable sidewalks for the next week.
Everyone post more to entertain me.
Re: Is it Friday yet?
How much snow are you supposed to get up there? We missed it this time.
I'm glad today's Thursday (and my Friday)...though I keep forgetting what day of the week it is. Tomorrow I get to drive to spend the day at my parents' house doing laundry since our machine is broken. Joy. The upside is that I get to see Bella (today's her birthday, so at least I can see her pretty close to the actual day).
We were supposed to get 2-4 inches, but it's sunny outside! Oh well, I didn't really want snow anyway. It's cold today, but it's that very early hint of spring kind of cold. Not bitter like the winter, and you can feel that spring is right around the corner.
Speaking of spring, Trader Joe's by us has the prettiest tulips right now. I might need to buy some next time I go.
I got blood drawn this morning to check my thyroid levels. Doc's appointment is next week, so we'll see how I'm doing.
Cassie-we're to get 6-12 inches... right now, DH's work was cancelled and the roads are... farking clear!
I work Fri and Sat and right now, my Sat is booked full o appts (yah!), but may be cxl'd cause of the snow (boo!).
FlipFLops-let's hope the levels are fine! I need to get mine tested... ugh.
Tulips... wish we had a trader Joe's near here...
We gave Trader Joes but they're usually mobbed. My sister was in for my bachelorette party and we went snacks because everyone was meeting at my apartment. She was horrified. She still talks about how insane it was. Grocery shopping is practically a contact sport there.
When I lived in Va Beach, the one there was always insane. However, the one in the Burg is very calm. Maybe it's because the old people (W'burg is full of old people) don't shop there as much as younger people? We're also a college town and I don't think it's popular among the college kids either.
I want it to be Friday soooooooo bad
In the 6 years I have worked here, I have NEVER had a week like this. It has been INSANE...Like random insane things happening.
Also the accountant has been out all week. So not only do I get to do my job and deal with all the insanity that has been going on, but I get to do his job as well! Oiiiiiiii
Friday please get here. I dont have to work this weekend. I want to relax and go to the 2 baby showers I have commited to.
We have 2 TJ's near us....one is always a mob scene, the other (obviously the one we go to) is much less crowded. We also have 2 Whole Foods near us, and it's the same story. I can't go to either of the busy locations...I feel my blood pressure rising as soon as I walk through the door LOL!
