Obama/Palin -- One Weird Scenario
OK,
I was watching the news tonight on KTLA -- and my mouth dropped:
They started by saying this election could shape up to be the closest in history (no shock there).
They played with the map.... one of the scenarios (where Virginia and New Hampshire went to McCain), ended up spliting the electoral college at 269-269.
Congress then breaks the tie
The house (democrat controlled) picks the president, which would then be Obama.
The Senate then gets to pick the VP ... and if Joe LIberman has to break a tie -- it would go to Palin.
I forgot that Congress would have some control in this....

No joke, the media speculates that this scenario will occur every damn election cycle.
It's their political wet dream.
Someone please make me stop responding to pretty amazing grace. I can't stop, I hate her and she makes me want to cry.
The more I read it, the more she literally makes me cry. But I CAN'T STOP.
That might be my best case of worst case scenarios! You know, if it all goes to hell and the the worst happens - recounts and all - that might be the best outcome simply because it would be so RIDICULOUS. It would be the Odd Couple, POTUS style.
I might actually secretly hope for this, only for the sheer hilarity of it all.
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
I would LOVE to hear the pundits on that one! SNL would have a field day .

Dude, we'd seriously be the coolest country in the world. Rock star prez? check. Rock star VP? check.
BUT I doubt Lieberman would choose Palin over Biden. He only likes Palin because his bff chose her. Biden's in the senate old boys' club with him.
