PLEASE STOP! A Blizzard warning? Are you KIDDING ME? I STILL have over 12 inches of snow at my house from last week and the week before and...well, seriously, it's been snowing since the first of December and NOW You want to give us another 24+ inches? WHY???
Sorry, has to get that out. I feel like I will never see my beautiful flowers ever again.
Re: Dear Old Man Winter
You probably won't have time to do this but in the future take panty hose and fill with rock salt and then lay them in the gutters...it will keep the snow/ice from building up.
Really??? I had never heard of that. I'm sooo going to do that if the ice ever melts (so probably next year).
We've done it in several of our properties because of the dangerous icicles that are forming off the gutters and because when we are having issues of ice actually start to get under the shingles themselves and it's causing leaky roofs! I wish the snow would go away I just how much of a mess the yard is when it does!
I don't even want to see what my yard is going to look like.
I Think it's time to brave the grocery store. Sigh. I'll take pictures of the snow if we get the blizzard. You take pics too Graves!
Melanie, I 100% agree with you.
Sorry, guys... but better you than us! I realize that's not altogether nice, but after last winter and a few weeks of very moderatetemps, I am thankful for each and every day we don't get more snow.
