Just saw on the news here in Orlando that Shamu killed one of the trainers today. I read about that specific whale's story. He was caught and taken away from his mother when he was 2 and has been forced to live in a tank and do tricks for the past 20 years of his life. I feel bad for the lady killed, but I can't help to feel bad for the whale. After what he has been through, you can't expect him not to lash out eventually :'(
Meet Moses, one of my many babies!

Re: shamu killed someone :(
Maybe I'm wrong but the article that I read was a different whale, not shamu. A whale name Tilikum.
Is that the same whale?
