Ask me anything

I don't think I've ever done one of these, and I'm a little annoyed at work so I wouldn't mind the distraction.

  • If you had to leave Austin, what would your next choice city be?

Will Rufus ever be getting a little brother/sister (of the four-legged furry kind)?

    What's your favorite alcoholic beverage?

I would love to move to the Western NY area I used to live, near Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

Rufus will definitely be getting a little (or big) brother at some point, but our current lease prohibits more than 1 furbaby. And we're still trying to determine the breed. We thought husky, but they seem like an unwise choice for a home that will have infants, so it may be another Aussie.

I am currently obsessed with Blue Moon beer, with a wedge of orange of course.

  • If you weren't a lawyer, what profession would you have chosen?

What would you do different with your wedding if you had a do-over?

If you like Blue Moon, you should order an Eclipse (or a Black & Blue -- they call it different things at different places). It's like a Black & Tan, but it's Guiness and Blue Moon instead of Guiness & whatever the Tan is...

Medical examiner, probably. That's if I'd never intended to be a lawyer. I always knew I'd be a doctor or lawyer, but didn't do medicine because I can't handle knowing people are in pain, but I had no problems with dissection, so I would have gone that way, most likely.

We'd have done a destination wedding like DH wanted. I wanted a local wedding so my extended family could come and the majority of them didn't show up (despite RSVPing yes) so we could have spent the same money and been somewhere amazing instead of in the scorching central Texas heat.

What kind of car do you drive?

    Whats your favorite movie?

I drive an awesome 06 Mercury Mariner. LOVE IT!

Movie is a tough one. There are several. But Casablanca is probably #1 for me. Also love love love Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You, Usual Suspect, the 1969 Romeo and Juliet and the Hamlet with Kenneth Brannagh.  I could watch any of those over and over and over again.
