I know this is super premature, but when did y'all bite the bullet and buy maternity pants? My pants are already so uncomfortable from all of this bloat I've got going on....but 7 weeks seems WAY too early to even consider it.
Re: Moms and Moms-to-be
It was around 19 weeks that I had to wear maternity clothes.
Have you tried a rubber band on your jeans to make them a little loser?
Use the rubberband trick. Loop a ponytail holder thru the hole and then loop around the button.
Or just get some maternity pants. The low panel works well during first and second tri, but the whole over the belly panel works best when you are huge and in third tri. Or buy one size bigger in regular jeans. All jeans are $20 at Old Navy right now.
Can't wait to see acute belly on you!
But it was great!
LOL you are so funny!
truth be told, I wear maternity pants on fat days.
My answer is whenever you want to. Go out and buy yourself a pair.
nope, not weird at all. I've done it. and sometimes I've just gone ahead and unbottoned my pants when I don't have a rubberband lol
Thanks everybody! I've got a rubber band on right now, and I can't even tell you how much better I feel.
In the mornings my pants usually fit fine, but as the day progresses the bloat gets worse and worse. Yesterday I was so uncomfortable all day, and when I got in the car to go home I unbuttoned and unzipped all the way to get some relief.
Elisa...I can't wait until I have a "cute" belly to show you either. Right now all I have is a big bloat belly.
i think i was around 15 - 16 weeks...but a lot of my clothes are loose to begin with, so i got by wearing my clothes for awhile, and i inherited tons of maternity clothes from friends, so i never had to buy them, so i can't remember.
just be comfortable, as pps have said. i'm sad that i'm coming to the end of my pregnancy, i love my belly!! embrace the bump! LOL
OMG another reason I just love you! I think you are so cute! Maybe I should try that!
