Am looking to expand my web reading list and I'm curious what you all are reading... ?My list:
-Drudgereport - for breaking news
-Politico - seems to have the most unbiased general political coverage
-The WSJ editorial page - for economy/bailout philosophy
-Slate - for their unique takes on current events
-The Corner/NRO - for an intelligent conserative viewpoint
In particular, I'm looking for a good intelligent liberal take (an alternative to The Corner). ?I took a quick glance at Huffington Post this am and they are featuring articles by Sheryl Crow, Roseanne Barr, Sean Penn, and Will.i.am - surely there is something better than that...

Re: What do you read?
I like the Washington Post for news and the NY Times for their opinion columnists. The Post has a pretty good blog...Post Partisan...little quick bits from EJ Dionne, Ruth Marcus, and a handful of others. It's slanted left, and it's pretty smart. The only thing I don't like about it is that only the intro sentence shows up in the blog reader. I hate actually having to go to the site, so I don't read a lot of what comes through.
Slate for everything. Love Slate. I have a major girl crush on Dahlia Lithwick.
I have only recently started getting into Politico but I like what I've seen so far.
I'm also on the Andrew Sullivan bandwagon. He links to a lot of good pieces too, so I have been using him as a filter.
Election in general
I like RealClearPolitics (www.realclearpolitics.com) for articles and poll results. The University of Virginia's Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball (www.centerforpolitics.org) site has election info and predictions as well.
Michael Barone has an interesting perspective; he's on National Review and U.S. News.
Partisan
I recently found Karl Rove's site at www.rove.com There's not much on there now but might be in the future.
I read the conservative sites Human Events, Weekly Standard, and National Review, Hannity Forum, and I look at the liberal Daily Kos when I want to go truly insane. On the left, I have liked Juan Williams, Camille Paglia, Salon, Slate.. (not sure if the last two are truly liberal) I remember liking some stories from the New Yorker, but that was a long time ago. There was a book on tape compilation.
I am reading Angler, a bio of *** Cheney right now.
Yeah4me, I wrote you a message on E08.
