Re: exercise check in
1. This week I tried to be really good, Monday did 3 of my new brazillian butt lift dvds-great workouts that kicked my butt no pun intended, tuesday surf, wed surf, thurs surf, fri surf. The rips were really strong and I am actually feeling a bit worn out.
2. Weekend is up i the air-still a little sore. Supposedly weather is going to turn bad and surf is going to be stormed out so may be back to doing the butt lift dvds on sat and sun may also take one rest day-still tbd.
3. Surfed really well tuesday and wed but had really bad sessions yesterday and today so a little bit disappointed. Felt that the new dvds really helped work my fast twist muscles so thinking this will be good cross training.
4. Did not do yoga this week due to busy work schedule and olympics
5. did a lemon juice fat burner boost-day 1 juice of one lemon in water, day 2 juice of 2 lemons in water, day 2 juice of 3 lemons in water, day 4 juice of 4 lemons in water-really feel that it helped cleanse my system and get things "moving" plan to do again next week i think. Tip: sometimes you just have to push through to get results
1. Exercise Accomplished this week to date. Did CrossFit four times this week - woo hoo. Still sore from all the pull ups.
2. Exercise Planned for the weekend. If the weather holds up, I would like to go for a run outside. I want to work on rowing and jumping rope.
3. Progress towards long/short term goals. The running goal hasn't really made any progress - still haven't made it outside. The half marathon I thought I was going to be running - it's in Wine Country where all runners get a sponge soaked in Riesling wine - I may not be anymore due to training.
4. Any setbacks, disappointments. Disappointments - I didn't get to attempt spinning this week. Set back - my yoga DVD hasn't arrived yet.
5. Anything else to share tips, comments, etc.... Been trying to eat better - i.e. clean eating. I had some cheats but still eating way better than usual. Just have to continue eating better to finally start seeing results.
1. Exercise Accomplished this week to date. 1 strength training class, 1 yoga class, 29 miles walked.
2. Exercise Planned for the weekend. strength training class and yoga class tomorrow morning, followed by a 3 mile walk; 6 mile walk on Sunday.
3. Progress towards long/short term goals. Finished my challenge at the gym (24 classes in 6 weeks) and am now only a week behind - thank you vacation - on my training for the Avon Walk.
4. Any setbacks, disappointments. I'm still trying to play catch-up on my training from vacation, which frustrates me. I know I'm doing the best I can, but I'm anal about following the training plan.

Just trying to stay fit before I decide what sorts of running races I want to run this spring/summer/fall.

Last weekend I went for my first long road bike ride, and I used my clip pedals for the first time. So big accomplishment there. But I also had a pretty bad crash - this time on a trail and not on the road so no cars *whew*. But I kinda feel like I suck on a road bike and it's not my sport.

1. Exercise Accomplished this week to date. - 1 Yoga class, 2 days of cardio, 2 days of strength training (specifically my SHAPE Bikini Body Workout routine)
2. Exercise Planned for the weekend. - Plan on doing 1 hour of cardio today before going out to dinner.
3. Progress towards long/short term goals. - I'm hoping this is the week I start seeing weight loss...
4. Any setbacks, disappointments. - Still VERY frustrated. This will be my 6th week of regular exercise and I have lost no weight and no inches!! I'm very frustrated. I have been very good on staying within my daily calorie allowance and working out 3-4 days/week burning about 500 calories at a time. I don't know what else to do.
5. Anything else to share tips, comments, etc.... - I need some guidance on how to get the lbs down because at this rate, I won't be bathing suit ready for my trip to Maui in April
