This kills me...

Hearing about young children dying from cancer : ( This little girl, Layla Grace, just turned 2 recently and is dying from Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Her mom started this blog and it kills me reading everything this family has gone through. I wish that there was a cure for cancer already!! It seems like this damn thing is coming up more and more these days. Please keep Layla and her family in your thoughts and prayers... It's got to be so hard losing such a young life.

  • I read 1 post, that's all I could do.  It's just so sad.  This reminds me of a girl I followed a few years ago on MySpace (well, her mother made the page).  Her name was Mila Casey Phillips, she was just 2 years old, she was only 10 months old (if my memory is right) when she was diagnosed.  She was the sweetest little darling and she passed away June 18 (I believe it was), 2007, just 2 months shy of her 3rd birthday.  Her mom used to post videos of her and everything.  I think you can even still find videos on YouTube.

    I hate cancer.

  • So sad.  My heart just breaks for these families.  Cancer is the devil!
  • At teacher at my school is going through the same thing with her son.  She has been out of school since it happened but her husband started a blog www.caringbridge.org/visit/kaidenabulela . I was in tears after reading it!  It is so sad!

  • I seriously hate cancer. Its so terrible and sneaky :( I cant even imagine the effects it has on a small child, watching my dad go through it is pretty tough.
  • Ugh, that is so sad. I couldn't keep reading or I'd start crying at work.
  • I can't even start reading it...I have been soo emotional lately.  Just reading your post I have a lump in my throat!
