What book are you reading?
Re: What book are you reading?
I've just started "Run For Your Life" by James Patterson. In the last 7 days I've finished "You've Been Warned" and "Honeymoon" all by J. Patterson. I'm a huge Patterson fan and since DH isn't around I've decided I'm going to tackle as many J.P. novels as I can.
Sarah....I haven't read any of the Women's Murder Club yet because I need to get 1st To Die. How do you like them?
I really like them. I haven't read any other JP books, and I've read that some of his fans don't like WMC that much because they don't like his style of writing in them. I don't know what that means really, since I haven't read any of his other books. I really like them, though. I think the characters are pretty interesting for the most part, and the story lines are intriguing.
haha what can I say, I like surprise endings! :P I'm reading The Hunger Games. It's a series and the 2nd book is called Catching Fire. The 3rd book isn't due out until August. The 1st book is soooo good! I would have never thought of reading this, but the girls on the Nest Book Club recommended it and I'm so glad! I just finished up The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks which was pretty good.
OMG BOOKS! I totally forgot to send mine out! I'm a horrible book buddy
SORRY BOOK BUDDY! I will send it this weekend...promise!
As for what I'm reading...not actively reading the past month but I am reading Tribulation Force (2nd book to the Left Behind Series), Angels and Demons, and Hearts in Atlantis. I can't just read one book at a time.
That's in my queue for when I'm done with Worst Case! I bought both books together. NS is one of the other authors that I've read everything he's written.
I was just looking at The Hunger Games a few days ago on Amazon! I think we're book soulmates haha!
yes! I believe your right! I just re-joined a book club and I got 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn' and I can't wait to read it...have you read it? I also got 'The Help' and 'Pirate Latitudes'.
I have read of NS books too and I like that its easy reading. I have 'The Lucky One' that I have yet to read of his. Have you read it? Any good? Of course I cried at the end of The Last Song
Ummm...A Tree Grows is my favorite book of ALL time! I even have a first edition copy from 1943. I also bought the movie from 1945...I had to order it all the way from Japan
I'll have to look into The Help and Pirate Latitudes.
I'm reading Catching Fire right now. SO GOOD.
I'm also finishing Babyville, can't think of the authors name though.
This is the book that inspired Dan Brown's Da Vince Code.
It was good. I think all of his books are about the same. I of course cry at every one! When I read the Notebook years ago, I literally cried for hours!
I'm reading Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster, goofy easy read. My mom has gone on and on about how funny her books are - its pretty entertaining but I think Mom talked it up too much.
I totally need to read some of these books ya'll are suggesting! May go download some on the Kindle right now...
I'm reading Something Blue and Tom Saywer. Both I got for Christmas. DH bought me Tom Saywer because he wants to re-read it. He does this all the time with books and CDs, oh well. I'm totally not into it. I remember not liking it when I had to read it for school and that hasn't changed.
To the NS fans: I used to read his books when I was younger and liked them but the only book I've read recently was The Wedding (picked it up at the airport). I thought it was terrible. Has my taste changed or was that just a bad book?
Jane Green??? Right??
Yes! Have you read it?
Yes, quite awhile ago...I think I've read most of her books...I was on a Jane Green kick for a bit
