What's everyone doing this weekend?
I am looking at reception venues with my new clients all day tomorrow so my weekend is pretty much shot. Please let me live vicariously through all of your fun plans!
Re: What's everyone doing this weekend?
Tonight we're finally going to O Ya, subsidized by my husband's former company. I can't wait!
Tomorrow night we're celebrating a friend's birthday at Finale.
Sunday we're playing in a volleyball tournament (to work off all the calories from the two previous nights
)
We are in a fight right now. I want to go to Finales right now!! haha I am hoping we can stop there soon!
DH said the power isn't coming on for a while since there is a tree on the wires so that means board games and sex. haha. But he is leaving work now to go hook up the generator so at least we will have the kitchen lights, water, heat and microwave and refrigerator.
We are planning on going to the Boston Home Show tomorrow and then out to dinner afterwards... no other plans besides that!
Hahahaha!
We're thinking about going out for dinner tonight because the rest of the weekend is going to suck. I have a midterm next week and have to write an NIH research grant so my weekend is really not going to be very exciting.

Foster dog is getting his dental today, so we are watching The Hangover and This Is It tonight since I want to keep a close eye on him due to the anesthesia.
He is going home at some point this weekend, not sure when though. I'm trying not to plan my entire Saturday until I know what time he's getting picked up!
Sunday is brunch with friends.
I really need to clean the bathrooms, kitchen, vacuum, and clean out/organize my closet so maybe I can just do all of that tonight since I have to stay in anyway!
Tonight I need to get a few groceries for tomorrow, and hopefully I can find a gas station open until 6 so I can get my car inspected otherwise I'll have to do it tomorrow morning. Then I need to clean for company Saturday wile watching the Olympics.
Saturday my two friends from college I still keep in touch with are coming to see our house finally. I haven't seen them since September, so it's been a while.
Sunday apparently one of DH's friends is coming over so I'll probably go on our normal grocery run.
No plans tonight, but we do have a ton of laundry to do.
Tomorrow afternoon we are going to a CD workshop. I am really looking forward to that, although I know DH is dreading it!
Tomorrow night we are going to Cheesecake factory with a GC we got for Christmas.
No plans for Sunday, and it is supposed to be nice out!
I have a busy weekend! Tonight we have rehearsal until about 9, then if I have energy we will go grocery shopping. I'd rather do it at night then on Saturday when it's crazy.
Sat morning we have to go to the bank to make a change to our account, do our taxes, and go through our costume/props in the basement to find what we need for our show next week. And what we don't have we have to go shopping for. Sat night dh is working so Mom and I are going shopping for maternity clothes because I can't fit into anything but my sweatpants!
Sunday I have to finish my little sister's flat stanley project and get it in the mailbox. Sunday afternoon we're stopping by to see my grandmother. Sunday night we're going to my parent's house for dinner.
I'm tired already.
Cute! My little cousin had a "Flat Ben" project last year and between all the family members that little guy really got around. We all joked that he'd been more places than all of us--actually, it wasn't a joke, it was true! He hit at least 3 continents.
This is just about how are evening looks, I haven't done it for awhile, and we're leaving for Florida next week so I want to clean the house so we come back to a clean house (does that even make sense? I don't know cleaning after vacation is the worst).
Sunday some friends are having a gathering pretty informal, and there are some guitar players in the group so we usually just drink wine and sing songs, you know high brow stuff.

Totally makes sense - we like to have a clean house to come home to also! And that has been the story of every night this week - we did a ton of laundry last week and then were really busy all weekend, so starting Monday I was like we need to put the clothes away! Never did. And now there is more to be washed too, lol.
Watching all the Olympics coverage I possibly can.
We're leaving for CT soon and will have dinner with my parents, then go get 2 dresses altered tomorrow, go out for Italian with friends. Sunday mom and I have a big annoying and stressful meeting, and we're dragging along my dad and H to make them help us, lol. And I'm knitting every spare moment to try to finish 2 more projects for the knitting olympics.
We're bad about putting it away sometimes too, I was motivated a little bit ago and did all of my hand wash stuff, some of that takes forever to dry.
Imagine all the onesies you'll be adding to your laundry soon!
We had birthday dinner Friday night, but we're going to Mamma Maria's in the North End tomorrow night for DH's company party...holiday party got a little delayed because the office was getting moved but this will be perfect since that time of the year was super busy.
Trying to decide what to wear though. Usually for the company holiday party I would wear something "festive"? Last year their was a medley of trendy casual to business formal/cocktail dresses. I'm leaning cocktail dress but it's going to be messy out and we were going to go to some bars in Faneuil Hall after dinner and walking to them so not sure I want to wear a dress though pants would just get wet when the cuffs went through puddles.
I never did this when I was in school but I guess a lot of people did. It's super cute. "flat Grace" got to see our house, my work, the theatre, and tomorrow I'm taking her to lunch. That's so cool that your cousin's got to visit different continents. I bet his was the coolest project in the class!
