*** Diva Lori - book for you ***

I remember that ages ago you were looking for multi-racial storybooks for Libby - this isn't quite the same, but I thought you might be interested. It's called Babies of the World, and is a thick-paged picture book (so a little one can carry it around and chew on it lol) that's all photos of babies of different ethnic backgrounds. Babies like looking at other babies, and from reviews I've read on other forums, they often love this book. I think it's a cool idea - I'd like to get a copy!

Re: *** Diva Lori - book for you ***

  • Love it!  Thank you!  We got a similar one as a gift...too cute.  I'll try to post a link later.
  • Here's the book we already have, Global Babies:

    image

imageAppealing photos of babies from seventeen cultures around the globe are woven together by simple narration. Global Babies presents children in cultural context. Diverse settings highlight specific differences in clothing, daily life, and traditions, as well as demonstrate that babies around the world are nurtured by the love, caring, and joy that surround them.

This book is good for your brain because:
Multiculturalism, People & Places, Geography, Baby Faces
