Kroger Mariemont has the most limited selection!
grrrrrrrr...
There.
I just had to get it off my chest. I was so pissed--no fresh scallops? And the gigantic scallops in the fish case still had ice on them from being frozen. And no specialty pasta? I just needed spinach fettuccini and they didn't even have it in the refrigerated pasta selection. Very disappointing.
I'm going to need to drive to the totally amazing Anderson Kroger for shopping I think. Maybe the reason Anderson Kroger was so busy was because everyone from Mariemont and surrounding areas go there!
Re: Kroger Mariemont has the most limited selection!
That's true. I do like Madeira and I've been to the Kroger and I would totally go the wine shop that's in that plaza. I wonder if it's much larger than Mariemont??
The White Oak Kroger is at least nicer than the others nearby. Mt Airy is icky and Northgate isn't so hot either. I remember when it was just a Steak & Shake in the middle of some woods. Thriftway was across the street where the chemo center is located but then it moved to that location.
I still like Kroger better than Meijer though. My Meijer is always out of stuff!

I kind of miss scary Kroger. But not that much. The one on Smithville (I think, it's at the top of the hill when you go up Third), always smelled like booze when I went to it.
Just a small tip - I hear they are going to start a remodel soon -- should take care of this at this point
I don't hate Biggs Skytop, but I don't love it either...
There is an odd instant gratification from Kroger Plus Carding-it. I need it like a drug.
Well I guess that I should be grateful that I don't find my Kroger scary..with one exception, let me warn you:
When I first moved here, I was in the WO Kroger parking lot in my car counting change, it was in the middle of the day. A lady with really bad dry skin knocked ON MY WINDOW! She said that she was stuck in Cincinnati because her dad is crazy & she had no money..was out of gas etc. I told her I didn't have any $. This was July.
Then in September I went to a Kroger on Colerain, saw the SAME LADY! She started to tell me the same story as I walked to the store. I stopped her & said I already know your story..I can't help you.
Late November, my husband & I are walking from our car in the parking lot, to the Walgreens on N. Bend & the SAME lady comes up to my husband. He had heard me describe her in so much detail that he knew who she was right away! She said "Sir"& he said "Can't help you". Obviously she lives in Cincinnati & was not just temporarily stuck here. She also manages to get to different parking lots. By now she could have gotten some kind of job..but instead she sometimes seams to lurk in WO parking lots..that makes me nervous! FYI, I've seen her wear a gray hoodie with the hood up & a bubble coat with fur around the hood.
