Clicky Poll: Would you see a chiropractor if... ?
This is what happens when the board is this dead. I come up with stupid things to ask your opinion on.
So, eight years ago I was in a bad car accident. Sustained serious injuries to my lower back (L3-L4, right where it curves in above your butt). Had surgery in 2006.
At the time (shortly after the accident, and when meeting with the surgeon for a consult), I was told I should never, ever, ever go to a chiropractor again. Not that they were against chiropractic treatment, but because my injury was such that if my lower back were adjusted in anyway I would risk paralysis to my lower half.
So... for the past few weeks my neck & shoulders have been bothering me. And I keep thinking that a chiropractor would really help. I've rotated my mattress, changed my pillow, no improvement. My neck pops, on its own, several times a day. Loudly. And without me helping it. Like I turn my head & it pops. And often, right after it pops, I get a headache.
I would really like to see a chiropractor for it. I saw a chiropractor before my accident, and shortly after (until they got my MRI results), and noticed a big difference in how I felt. And since this is my neck/upper back, and not my lower back....[Poll]

I was thinking this too. Even if it doesn't address the actual problem it would be nice! And maybe you could get their opinion on your back issues.
