I had a good weekend! I don't really remember Friday, though.
Saturday we graded tests for a math competition which was fun. DH wanted to actually take the test instead of grade it. It's cute to see his nerdiness come out. Didn't do too much the rest of the day. Rented Love Happens which was good.
Sunday we played shuttleboard with some friends and pretended we were in the Olympics curling which was a lot of fun. DH and I even beat them 2-1!
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Started off with a bang... literally. I got a lovely black eye.
We were out with friends at a bar Friday night playing those video poker things where you get a little game console and they have everything up on the TVs (like at Buffalo Wild Wings). DH was in a big pot with a bunch of people and I had just folded, so I leaned over to see what he had and the river card came up and he was watching the screen and won - he didn't see me leaning over and he threw his hands up in the air really fast and caught my cheek & eye. It hurt like a mofo. Yep, DH gave me a black eye... should be fun to explain this week.
He freaked out and rushed me home so we could google what to do and I've been icing it all weekend. We barely left the house for the rest of the weekend (because I didn't want to be out in public getting judged...), which was boring as hell.
Our weekend was good. We started a new small group Bible study on Friday night which went better than we expected. Several couples there with a lot in common with us which is always nice.
Saturday we ran errands and did some cleaning. I went shopping in the afternoon a bit.
Sunday after church we celebrated DH's birthday (which is tomorrow) with our families. It was a lot of fun and I ate way too much pizza and ice cream cake so I felt all fat and happy. LOL!

I don't think I remember Friday either...thinking....
Ohh yea, H had to work so I drank wine and caught up on my TV shows.
Saturday we took a spin class and had a lunch date. At night we went to a benefit dinner at the Union Hall for a fire fighters wife fight lukemia. It was a good time. Afterwards we stopped by a friend's birthday party.
Sunday I worked out and then did a huge Sam's Club and Walmart trip. I cleaned up the house when I got home. I was exhausted last night and went to bed shortly after Amazing Race.

Friday we went out with a friend for dinner and then went to the bar and my stoooopid DH got plastered and well yeah, I'll spare you the details. Little dummy...
Saturday we went to a concealed weapons class which was pretty cool. We learned a lot!! Then we went home and lounged.
Yesterday I slept in and it was soo nice to finally catch up on sleep!!!
I made dinner and played WOW most of the day. Great day!

Friday night we went to visit the IL's and get our taxes done. Getting a good bit back, so yay! DH also cleaned the house for me while I was at work.
On Saturday we had two guys come to do repair work on our house. For most of the day I had the roof ripped off my front porch and a huge hole in my garage. Now I have a roof and a wall in my garage. There's still no siding or anything else on the front porch, but at least there's progress. Anyway, we spent the day cooped up in the house.
Yesterday, we went to church, then DH left to go golfing with a friend. I went grocery shopping and worked on things to teach my lessons with this week.
We are still anxiously awaiting the birth of my sister's baby. She's due this coming Saturday, so any day now I could have a niece or nephew!
Our weekend was awful and stressful
DH was informed on Friday that due to budget cuts his tenured teaching position (after 9 yrs!) is being filled by a teacher with more seniority this fall. His coworker (they both teach PE together) got cut, too. (And the kicker is his wife is pregnant also and due the same day as me!!) So now we are in panick-mode trying to figure out how to fight it. We have some good plans in the works, but it might be all in vain. I've been so stressed and I know its not good for the baby, but its hard. We are trying to keep positive. Please send positive vibes our way!!

Rock - hope your black eye heals soon! DH gave me one on accident years ago, too.
HB - CONGRATULATIONS! That is such great news! How far along are you?
LoveMyPEguy - I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Your family is in my prayers and I hope that he's able to find another job very soon.
Our weekend was good. DH had a couple of his guy friends over Friday night, they just sat around playing guitar so I went to sleep early in our new bed that was delivered Friday afternoon!
Saturday I ran errands most of the day and then we had a wedding to go to that evening. It was so beautiful, but I gotta say 29 weeks pregnant + high heels = disaster. After 2 hours at the reception DH had to take me home. As soon as we got in the car I was literally in tears because my legs/ankles/feet were so swollen and in so much pain.
Sunday we spent most of the day relaxing
