Canada holds record for most golds won at home
We've come a long way from being the only country to hold two Olympic games at home without winning a single gold in either!
As of now, we have 12 gold medals, beating the record held jointly by the US (Salt Lake City) and Norway (Lillehammer), each of whom won 10 golds at their own games. We're just two golds away from holding the record for most golds won at any games (home or away). And there's at least two gold medal games being played today...

That means we're tied for most golds won ever, anywhere (home or away!)
And we're relying on men's hockey for the tie-breaker! Yikes.
