Re: I'm HOME!!!!

  • I am finally home, much more comfortable than the hospital.

I was diagnosed with preterm labor/short cerix.   I am on proper meds to control the preterm labor.  I went in with a cervix measuring .8 - left with it measuring 3.1.

The next few weeks are critical.   I will be 23 tomorrow.  They say at 26 weeks Evan will have a chance of survival.    With that being said, I am on strict bedrest until delivery or 35 weeks.   I will be closely monitored by the high risk team at maternal fetal medicine, and by my own group.

Take care  - feel free to come and visit anytime!

    Angela

  • So glad to hear that you were able to make it home.  Even though I'm sure bedrest at home will be difficult, at least you can spend this time in your own home, bed, etc.  I'm sure we'll all be continuing to send prayers your way to keep that baby baking until 35 weeks.

  • You have been in my prayers.  Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.  I can bring you and Scott some dinner night, just let me know what you would like.
  • Welcome home!  I'm so glad that things have improved.  I'm sure bedrest is difficult.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you!  I'll continue to send thoughts and prayers too!

  • You have been in my thoughts and prayers, Angela :)  So glad that things have improved and that you're able to be resting at home now.  We're here to keep you company!
  • Well you know how excited I am that you are home! I never stopped thinking and praying for you, Scott and baby Evan!  I will be over to visit a lot so let me know what you want me to bring you.  : )
  • So glad to hear that you are home!  I will continue to send thought and prayers your way.
  • Welcome home! What a scary trip that must have been. I'm glad to hear both you and baby are doing better. Sending thoughts and prayers that you stay comfortable and that Evan stays put!
  • I will call you about stopping by with Olivia.  She can have a little chat with Evan about how great it is to stay in until around 37 weeks or so!
  • I'm glad to hear you are home, too!  I've been thinking about you, and I'm glad that you can be in the comfort of your home through all of this.
  • welcome home!
  • I am so glad you are home now Angela.  I'm sure bedrest sucks but I'm sure its much better in your own home than the hospital.  Let me know when you want some company and Jack and I can stop by for a visit some evening.
  • Yay for being at home instead of the hospital!  You all will continue to be in my thoughts.  Let's hope that the rest of your pregnancy is less exciting and that baby Evan decides to cook a while longer.  You know I'm not far away so if you guys need anything just let me know.
