I moved to Massachusetts for a short time from Florida. While in Florida I was a member of Anytime Fitness. It was great, 24/7, no contracts, use any location in the US, all for $32/month. I ended up canceling when I moved because there were not any within a reasonable distance to my house and I did not join another because it was only temporary, (little longer than I thought it would be, 6 months). Now I am moving to Manchester, NH and already looked to see if there are Anytime Fitness centers there, and once again, none are within a reasonable distance. I would not drive more than 20 min. to go to a gym. This might have something to do with always living in larger cities and not having to drive so far. Anyway, my question is... does anyone have a suggestion for a CHEAP gym (under $40/month), either 24/7 or at least open until 10 pm, no contract, around the Manchester area. I want to eventually work out around my neighborhood, we have some free weights and an exercise ball; I've been snooping craigslist for a decent treadmill. But until then I enjoy working out inside a gym.
I think there was a lot of unnecessary info in that post, but I was trying to anticapte questions of why join a gym, why so close, why.... so TIA
