Our power has been out since 10pm last night. And if you live near side roads they are pretty bad so be careful!

Re: Anyone else lose power?
Yep - we've been out since about 11 last night. I'm at work now so I can finally see! I get the feeling like we'll be out most of the day today too. I took our dog for a quick walk this morning to scope out the damage and there's an entire tree just laying on power lines on our street. Not even touched.
Good news though: we won a free swimming pool! Bad news: It's not really a swimming pool, it's just a flooded basement thanks to the lack of electricity. Woohoo! I'm getting out my swimmies!
I'm kind of shocked we didn't lose it actually. The wind has been insane! There was a huge fence down on the way to work this morning, I'm going to take a picture later on.
haha can I come over swimming? Our yard is a mess it is flooded and our fence fell. We lost power around 10-11pm last night and it still hasn't come on so that means no water too since we run on a pump. So I couldn't flush the toilet and I have to pee every second so that is not a pretty sight.
Maybe I'll open a water birthing center down there...that could be quite the adventure.
Merrimac has their own light department, so they have probably 3 trucks as opposed to National Grid's 234234 trucks. This should be interesting.
You've got such a good attitude about it; I'd be freaking out!
We actually didn't have any problems with power last night. I heard the wind howling a few times, but no real issues came up. I guess we got lucky.
We got really lucky last night too. Although, I was terrified of the wind. Our bedroom is over our deck and it creates quite a wind tunnell so I actually felt the bedroom swaying last night (or at least I thought it did!).
I'm sleeping in the guest room next time we have wind like that! I hope everyone gets power back soon.
Ditto.
I would also be freaking out! We didn't lose power at all last night, but there were errands I had to run yesterday which wasn't fun at all.
No power loss here, luckily. My umbrella did get busted yesterday in the wind though
I was happily surprised this morning that we didn't have any trees down. The wind was howling all night and it was getting scary!
Our power went out around 10:30 Thursday night. It was out all day Friday (Fabulous birthday present mother nature! Thanks a bunch.) It finally came back on late yesterday afternoon. I think it was out for almost 40 hours. My goal for today is cleaning out the fridge and heading to the grocery store to see if I can find any fresh milk.
We had at least 4 trees come down on the property too but luckily none of them fell near the house. We did have one across the driveway but DH is quite handy with a chainsaw so he was able to remove it and now we have lots of extra wood for the stove.
Is seabrook still out? I still don't have power. Have you heard when you will get it back?
I'm sorry to hear you still don't have power. Do you have National Grid? Based on converstations I've had with people it seems like the people who have municipality power seem to have it on already but the people who have National Gric are running into more delays getting it back.
I'm not sure what is going on in Seabrook now. I just drove through because I was hunting for any place with power and it was warmer in the car than it was in my house. I would assume they have power back by now. On Friday there was power at Kohl's and Lowes but the Walmart shopping center across the street was out.
We're down in Rowley. Most of town got power back by about 6:00 Friday night but our stretch of town didn't get power until about 2:00 on Saturday. We had at least 2 trees down on power lines in our area of town so it took longer to get ours fixed.
