One of my best friends is due in July and I've told her for years I'd be throwing her a baby shower when the time came. Time came! Woohoo. So, I've never actually been the shower hostess before, so I'm not sure if this is something I can do solo, or should I see if another friend wants to help out? If it's a two woman job, is it ok for me to ask someone I think would be interested, or should I wait and see if someone approaches me (I still have almost 2 months before details need to start being hammered out)? I don't know the etiquette from this side of the game!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Re: Do I host solo? WDYT
I'm sure you can handle it on your own but depending on the guest list might be a lot less stressful to have some help.
I'm sure someone will ask you if they can help.
And make sure it's a friend you like and can rely on. If you pair up with a friend of your friend, you could have a potential disaster on your hands.
But a baby shower hosted at home shouldn't be too hard. I would attempt it.
I think I'd only do it with a mutual friend. I have someone in mind, but I don't think any one knows yet that I've staked my claim to being hostess. Hosting it at home, though, is one of my problems. Chances are I will need to find a site other than my house since technically I live OOT from all the potential guests. I have more than enough space, but I don't know if everyone would want to drive 20 miles out of town for it.
