Who has seen this show...

"I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant"? A friend was telling me about this, and I watched two episodes because I saw it was On Demand. Oh. My. God. I may never have sex again. All of these people who were taking their birth control, etc. and ended up pregnant and DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT. I am scarred for life. And terrified that I may be pregnant even though I haven't missed a period in like 10 years. I swear that I will never watch that show again, even though the damage has been done.

Re: Who has seen this show...

  • I'm still convinced that the .02% of birth control that isn't effective is left for human error. I'm sure you're fine.

  • I agree. Those pills work. Even if you screw up taking them, they still work.

And if you did get pregnant, you'd know! The fact that it escaped their attention for 9 months is what gets me. I love to watch that show. I just can't look away.

Ditto Cissy.  You're a smart girl, you'd know.  That show is like a trainwreck; you want to look away but you just can't.  I love it.

  • I'm always nervous when I'm on antibiotics about something like this happening. My friend stayed on BC for two months during her pregnancy and still had her "period". She had no idea until she started getting morning sickness. Plus, I'm so frickin huge already, I probably wouldn't notice a baby bump either. So yes, that show SCARES me.
  • There is a BIG difference between not knowing for the first two or three months, and not knowing until you give birth. I can definitely see missing it during the first trimester. Especially if you already have a kid or if you are just super busy. You have nothing to worry about!

    This.

That show is soooo crazy. The all time best is the woman who stood up and the baby just "slid" out into her pants. She's kept saying "there's a baby in my pants!". Who are these people?!?
