I wanted to post this here and on the bump. ![]()
I just have to tell you the cutest story that one of my bff's daughter said to her Mom when I was in the hospital. They had come to visit us the night before in the hospital and she says to her Mom the next day, "Haley is a dream come true!" My bff texted me and I wanted to cry. It is pretty unbelievable when even a three-year-old knows how much we wanted our little girl and how hard it was for us to become parents. So I know it isn't thankful thursday yet, but I wanted to just share that with all of you.
Everytime I think of what she said I think of where we were over the last few years in our journey to become parents. There were many times when we felt like we were never going to be able to become parents. Most of you know our journey and all the struggles we had to get here. Through tons of home pregnancy tests, lots of testing, male infertiltiy, choosing a donor, bloodwork, more tests, fetility drugs, tons of doctors appts, an iui, bowel issues, sickness issues, and most recently hearing our little one was going to have a low birthweight under the 10 percentile right before LO arrived. It really has been a rollercoaster adventure. We always hoped and prayed for some little miracle or chance that God would let us be parents somehow. Anytime we had to make a wish over the past few years whether it was blowing out candles on a birthday cake or breaking the wishbone from the turkey our wish was always the same: to become parents. It finally happened.
I am so happy and I just wanted to say your a wonderful group of ladies who are always here for anyone. It is nice to have a place to share the good times and the bad times in your life with. I am glad that I have found a place on the upstate board and you are all really wonderful. So thanks ladies for everything. I am sure now with our "little dream come true" there will be many more moments to share with all of you!
