Date Night
What is everyone doing tonight? My hubby and I are going to see "Eagle Eye." Then, we will probably take a romantic walk on the beach. Well, I hope everyone has a good night.

i guess last night was ours... LOL but we double dated with AM and her hubby jason....and hung out around our house after dinner...
dh hits the bed early tonight because he works tomorrow...so i will be making cards! LOL

Absolutely nothing. I'm pooped from the birthday party we went to earlier.
just making random ones...playing with all my new toys!
so far, i have been working on christmas gift tags, i have made a great card for my cousin's upcoming birthday, and i made a random thank you card...
i am just mostly playing around with my toys...
LOL....i wish! HA! i guess i am creative to a point...i do like to make things and enjoy little projects...although i don't have the best patience in the world, and sometimes, you need it....
i actually made a set of monogram cards last weekend, and i gave them as part of a bridal shower gift....she really liked them! i would like to find a niche with cards and stuff, but i haven't figured it out yet....so for now, i will just make them for me!
We actually never made it to the movies, since the hurricane here in LA, our movie theater has been closed and we didn't feel like driving 30 miles to see a movie so we came home and are watching football....ROLL TIDE!
One of my best friends from childhood has a little girl who turned 1 a few days ago. She lives in S. Georgia now and I haven't seen her since her wedding two years ago. They had the party here b/c her family's here. I finally got to meet the little one and she's a doll.
It does and unfortunately all of my closest friends live far away. I hate not being able to see them and their familes but that's life. :-( My friend E (the one I saw) and I have the kind of friendship where we don't talk for months and can always fall back into it like we talk or see each other everyday. I have known her since I was 5 & she's like my personality twin.
Hope you had a good Saturday night. Amarah took a late nap b/c of the "happy party" as she calls it so she's still up. Time to get her in bed and watch the SATC movie & work on a blanket I'm crocheting....though sleep sounds a heck of a lot better.
I live close to Mandeville in Hammond, LA, we are to the west of Mandeville.
O2bblond, that is really neat that you live like twenty minutes away from Mandeville. I usually go home quite often, so if you ever want to meet up then maybe we could.
That would be great, where are you living at now? I know Alabama but what city? I was born there and my husband and I are going to be moving there next year, hopefully...
O2bblond, next time you come this way then you will have to let me know. I will also let you know the next time I'm heading to Mandeville. What made you all want to move to Birmingham? Did your husband get offered a job over there or what?
I love Alabama, so does my husband. We hope to move there for better opportunities job wise. The housing market is so much better there, plus I have family in N. Alabama and Birmingham. And we have got to move away from my inlaws!!! UGH
