weight gain

My husband has put on quite a few pounds since we were married. I am finding myself less and less sexual attracted to him. I have talked to him about it and still nothing. What can I do?

Re: weight gain

  • Work out together. And plan healthy dinners and lunches.

Ditto.  Take the initiative and make it a together thing and work out, set meals up together.  Make it about both of you not just about him.  Making it about him will make him want to eat more.

  • You should divorce him. Didn't you tell him when you married him that you were only doing it because of how he looked?

  • What Lemon said.

Try a new sport together if you find the gym to be horribly boring.

    Hope is not a strategy.

I second this. My H and I gained about 10 pounds after the wedding so we started working out together; its awesome and so motivating.

this.. it would be easier for the both of you to do it together, and at the same time your giving him support..

Agreed. It's only about the looks.

  • I do all the cooking at home. It's hard to keep him on track while he's at work. I get I've had a rough day, I'm too tired. I want his motivation level to get back to where it was before the I Do.
  • I do personal training, I am struggling with this. I like volleyball he likes hockey. If it's not one thing it's another. It's hard to find a compromise.
  • Exactly what every ugly person would say. You obviously don't know me or my husband so shut your ****** mouth. If you and yours want to die at 45 with chicken grease dripping from your fingers fine. I will not sit around and watch anyone I love kill themselves with food. Your opinions are not welcome.

Maybe you aren't as concerned with looks because both you and your husband are not attractive. Sorry for your luck, but this is a huge deal in my house. Thanks but no thanks on your stupid comments.
