BC/Antibiotics question
I started antibiotics a week ago for bronchitis. I know they mess with BC, so DH and I have been using condoms as a backup. Tomorrow I finish the antibiotics, and Wednesday is my last active BC pill in this pack. I'm not sure how long it takes for things to be "normal" again with BC after antibiotics. When would you feel comfortable going back to the BCP as the only birth control on that timeline?

I was told to "cycle through" to your next pack. You should use a back-up method until you get to the point in your new pack where you were in your old pack when you started the antibiotic. For instance, if you were on the 3rd day of the 2nd week when you started the antibiotic, then you should use a back-up method until you get to the 3rd day of the 2nd week in your new pack.
But yes, talk to your doctor if you are unsure.
