Hi ladies-- it has been a good 8 months since I've talked to most of you. I have lurked here ever since I stopped posting (and I'm sure many of you remember why), but it seems like everyone is doing pretty well, and I'm very glad.
I have kept in touch with a few of the girls who are pregnant.
It was said in the last bump post that more J09ers should post their bumps. So I figured I'd create a thread for it. So if you're pregnant, show it off!!
And yes, Beanie is due next month!
Here is my most recent... taken four days ago at 38 weeks.

Mr. & Mrs. O: Est. 6/27/2009, Jacob Ryan 3/3/2010, Owen Matthew 8/14/2012!

Honestly, it does go by VERY quickly. Even with the ten-eleven weeks I felt like I had the flu or a really nasty hangover (yuck)!!

I can't believe how fast that went! You look SOOOO good still!! so tiny everywhere but your belly. It was all downhill for me after 36 weeks--swollen legs, ankles, a$$, FACE etc LOL.
Congrats on the upcoming arrival, very exciting! Are you in the crazy nesting stage yet--cleaning everything, re-folding things? I swear pregnancy makes you nuts
Did you have any weird cravings? With my daughter, I wanted butterscotch everything which was really strange. And with my son it was fruit punch--weird!
(trying to help with mamie's prego info Q)
Thank you!!
I feel giant... I don't think pictures can ever depict how large you feel lol lol. The crazy nesting stage hit me for about a week, my first week of maternity leave. I did SO much... and did EVERYTHING. By the time Friday rolled around, I literally couldn't get off the couch lol.
I didn't actually get any weird cravings. My diet has stayed about the same as it was before I was pregnant. The only difference is my sweet tooth hit right around Christmas time... go figure. So now I want dessert almost every day. I try to make it something not too heavy though... like a little bit of ice cream or a couple of GS cookies. Some days I can't help it and I eat something heavier. It's not too bad though.
A couple of weird things though... before pregnancy, I HATED orange juice. Now? I LOVE it. In the first trimester, every week my taste for bread changed. One week, I would eat wheat. The next, I couldn't even stomach it, but I could eat sourdough. It was so weird. Oh, and I have not been able to chew minty gum AT ALL since 1st tri. It makes me gag!

That is so weird about the orange juice thing, I have heard that before. Some woman hated hot dogs and her H loved them, when she was pregnant--apparently she craved them all the time. So crazy. How weird is that.
I couldn't get enough Orange Juice when I was pregnant! I think it's because it (obviously) contains Vitamin C, which converts your body to an alkaline state, which promotes overall health--as illness and disease can't grow in an alkaline body (but only in an acidic one). So interesting. But I vividly remember waking up in the middle of the night and going to pour glasses of OJ with my big, huge, round belly
And you're totally right--looking back at my prego pics, I think I actually look decent, but thought I was a cow at the time! Lol. I just fltl so big and awkward. But you do look really awesome.
Do you gag brushing your teeth now? I had the worst gagging problems with that during both of my pregnancies! haha. I also had random nose bleeds and my teeth pushed together. Anything weird like that!?
PS-so glad you got everything done already! I insisted on cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms when I went into labor with my daughter--insane.

Hello everyone
I am 14 weeks along no bump yet but doing pretty good getting over the morning sickness yea. So far everything looks good. We have been really busy with the baby coming we are going back to NY to be near our family. Josh has a job and I been looking just waiting to hear back from someone. We are working on buying home not sure if it will be ready for when we get home so we would be living with the in-laws and sleeping on a twin bed sounds like fun right . LOL We will be moving the second or thierd week of April so we only have about 40 days before we move I have so much to do. It looks like everyone is doing good.
MrsO, I think I said this over on GP, but if I didn't post there...You look great! Can't wait to hear your birth story and see pictures of Jake!
BTW, I officially consider myself the peacemaker of the week on J09.
I don't think I can pull off a bathroom pic at my work but I'm at 22 1/2 weeks. I'll try to post a pic later. I'm still wearing some pre-preg pants that were always a little to big for me but that's because the morning sickness caused me to lose weight. But I'm back up to where I started and our little girl is healthy and active.
It's funny how everyone else loved OJ because that is the quickest way to make me vom. I have to mix it with ginger ale or sprite to drink it (although that combination is actually pretty good). Brushing my teeth is another adventure. And ice cream and I have become BFFs. Especially in the form of chocolate milkshakes. Yum!

I like all the pregnant J09ers posting because we can get our baby rabies out while oohing and ahhing over you. Because I noticed my husband looking at a baby in a restaurant this weekend a little too long, and I had to remind him we're not going down that road yet.
Weird confession--I sporadically lurk over to GP and always get excited to see Mrs. O posting over there. I'm glad you're back!

Hi ladies! Wow I haven't been over here in months. I heard about the J09ers posting their updates on babies, and figured I would let you know about my story.
This is my third pregnancy. I've had 2 miscarriages since October, and let me tell you, its like getting your heart ripped out time and time again. This time, I am on progesterone supps (the hormone that helps keep the pregnancy viable until the placenta takes over), and am monitored weekly. I am happy tho, and back to life, and looking forward to the future with our little family.
Hope all is well with you all.

Jumped on also and saw that people were updating about their pregnancies. I just found out last week that I am pregnant. Third IUI was a charm. I am 5w2d today and really excited to be expecting my first with my husband. I lurk all the time but really dont have anything exciting to add.
