Re: :::Mamie:::
Haha. We should call this post "Ask a Pregnant Lady."
-- Best thing about being pregnant?
-- Worst thing?
-- What do you wish people would stop asking/telling you?
-- Does it piss you off when people rub your belly?
that's it for now. Other expectant mamas should chime in too.

CHARTS
Just thinking about rib pain makes me wince.
Thanks for the answers! I'll probably have more questions tomorrow!

-- Best thing about being pregnant? I have to go with feeling the baby kick/move as well. It is an amazing thing.
-- Worst thing? The morning sickness of first tri and the pregnancy brain. I swear I lost a good 3 months of work because I was either puking or could not motivate myself to do anythng, and I still have problems remembering stuff that I should not have problems remembering.
-- What do you wish people would stop asking/telling you? "Your face is filling out" or "You've gotten so big." I think this may just be my being annoyed with people at work in general, since only a couple of co-workers have said this and it got to me both times.
-- Does it piss you off when people rub your belly? No, I actually kind of like it. But it doesn't happen very often. If it did, I may feel differently. One woman at a conference last week put her hand out and actually slapped her own hand away before she touched me saying that she just wants to touch me but knows she shouldn't. I would've let her, but was rushing out to the bathroom.
-- Best thing about being pregnant?
Right now it is feeling her move. I'm still at the stage where it feels more like butterflies in my stomach than anything painful. DH and I will sit in the mornings with our hands on my belly because she's really active when I wake up. Rich is so cute though - he actually gives her little pep talks about the day and all of the things she and I will do.
-- Worst thing?
Not being able to do a lot of things. I miss turkey sandwiches and wine. (Not together but still) And it's really hard to watch everyone move our stuff and not being able to help. I've been getting back aches from cleaning and don't want to push it.
-- What do you wish people would stop asking/telling you?
Just because they say it's a girl, doesn't mean it is a girl. Really? I know there is a slim chance but just let me enjoy planning for the daughter I've always wanted.
-- Does it piss you off when people rub your belly?
I'm not Budda - hands off the belly.
OMG that is funny. It's such an urge to want to touch a pregnant belly!
lucky, that's awesome you got out of moving things around. I'm already thinking of excuses to make when we move this year, but sadly, a baby isn't one of them. So cute about Rich giving the baby pep talks.
