I just got the most painful shot of my life
In the bottom of my foot, just below my arch but not quite to my heel. I cried even before they gave me the injection.
THIS is why I was lazy for so many years. Obviously my body is rejecting running.

Was it a cortisone shot?
I used to work at a podiatrist office and I was talking to a girl right after she got one and she fainted. Freaked me out!

You can't get more than a couple per year...you run the risk of rupturing the ligament or tendon. My mom got ~5 in one year and they also stopped working...and she had damage to the tendon.

Yeah the first one helped but after that they didnt work anymore. He even had the surgery and that didn't help. I feel so bad for him because it hurts him so much.
