Tell me to stop being creepy.
We put a formal offer on another house this evening. Earlier today I discovered the FB (and public wall) of the seller. I'm now compulsively checking her page to see if she writes anything her reaction to the offer.
I'm so creepy.

Re: Tell me to stop being creepy.
This weekend while out, we met a guy who we thought might be perfect for our friend. He told us his name, and we now know where he went to high school, college, med school, where he works, his professional timeline, and that he recently attended a party called "boobies and booze".
So yeah... I'll hop on the creepy train.

Stalker!
People in the real estate game need every advantage they can get.
And Dandy, awesome use of FB!

My 101
I would do the same thing AND peruse their photos for more pics of the house.
My boss taught me that it's smart business to know a little about your seller: what's their intention for selling? Are they desperate to get out? Will they negotiate heavily? If they put it out on a public facebook account, they're asking you to read it.
Ha, done and done, steph!
I know the reason she's selling-- wants to rent an apartment nearby until her daughter graduates HS in two years and then move South. She's an RN and has worked with my dad before. A widow.

Hilarious.
