His "leave it" test was a piece of pepperoni... I thought it was all over. We'd been practicing with dog treats in the driveway, but... so... tempting! I could hardly believe he made it through.
It's been a crazy work day but I just came to this board to congratulate you. Yay for Guinness!!! Wasn't it such a proud moment? I know I was all smiles on the car ride home after Max passed. I hope you enjoy taking him out in the community and let me know if you decide to do any work within Wildwood.
Please pass along a "Good boy Guinness" for me
Thanks! Yeah, I am such a proud dog mom.
It seemed like a lot of dogs passed last night, at least from the statistically insignificant sample I ran into. The two dogs immediately before us both passed. I think they said one dog had taken the pepperoni before Guinness tested, so there was at least one who didn't pass... but Guin was the 11th dog of the night, so that seems pretty good. I don't know if any others didn't pass for any other reasons.
Once I get all his paperwork sent in and everything, we'll have to find out who needs volunteers
