MORE grandkids??
Chatting to my mom, and she asked me when we were planning on having our next baby. 
Give me a chance to get these ones out first lol!
She was a bit let down when I told her that we're pretty sure this is it for us since we only ever planned on having 2 kids - she always wanted to be a SAHM to a big ole brood, and I think she's disappointed that I don't have the same plans. Still, I think this takes the cake as far as putting on the pressure for more grandkids goes!

John's mom started asking for grandkids about 10 years ago, even before he was married or was seeing anyone at that time, lol.
Even if you and Ben were thinking about #3, you can tell your mom that you and Ben will be too busy wrangling the twins to even be able to attempt TTC for #3.
Oy, and with man stud Ben over there, I'm sure you'll end up with triplets instead of just one more.
LMAO yeah, this is part of the reason I think we're done. I know that it's not common to have more than one set of multiples unless you're having fertility treatments, but it does happen...I was talking to a nurse yesterday when I was at a doctor's appointment, and she cheerfully told me about how just the day before she'd helped deliver a woman's second set of spontaneous twins (the other set were about 2 years old). No thank you!!!
Wow. Are you an only child? Is this her only chance for grandkids? I think my mom and her siblings are disappointed that the majority of my generation (cousins) have only had one or two kids. There are 5 total in my mom's generation and each had 2-3 kids so there were LOTS of little ones (14 of us total...7 boys and 7 girls and basically 14 years between the youngest and eldest, so quite close in age over all)...I guess they're disappointed that our kids aren't going to have a bunch of cousins. For example, in my family, my brother's kids are now 12 and 7 and then there's Libby. My younger brother is a bachelor and we have no idea if/when he might settle down and have kids. So my mom's grandkids are pretty spaced apart...
Anyway, just do what you're gonna do and your mom will love those two boys to pieces! FWIW, Joseph is already talking about TTC#2! Hello?!?! I have not even been cleared for sex by my OB yet! Personally, I plan to wait until Libby is at least a year old before we talk about TTC#2.

Not even close! I have an older sister and a younger brother, so even though I'm the only one having kids at the moment, this certainly isn't the last chance she'll have.
My mom is kinda...funny...though. Very conservative, very religious. Not quite the quiverfull type, but thinks that a Little House on the Prairie type of family structure would be ideal. Mom at home, Dad working, large family, that kind of thing. I don't think she approves of me planning on returning to work, or planning on putting the boys in non-family childcare (personally, I don't get this - what makes a relative any more qualified to watch your kids than anyone else???).
I am dying (as I typically do at your posts!). That is so funny. Um, mom, can we put the brakes on for a minute?? I would DIE - truly die - if I had twins, got pregnant again and it was multiples a second time.
