Guess what i found.....?

I found my Journal from college. My last entry in it was in March of 2006! It was so much fun to go back and read what was going on in my life back then. It made me regret that I quit writting in it for so long, so last night I wrote a super long entry.

Anyone else keep a journal?

How cool! You should start journaling again.

One of my friends who I've known since 2nd grade has all her journals/diaries from elementary and middle school. They are hilarious!

It's fun to go back and read entries. I used to have a journal in high school but my ex-high school-boyfriend read it and then ripped the pages up bc he was mad at me for liking some other guy. Ugh. I do however, have the one I started in college. I might have to go back and read some entries now...

I used to write everyday too. I haven't in recent years, but it is fun to go back and see what I was thinking about back then.

I could never keep one because I knew that it would be read (my mom would read whatever, wherever, and it didn't matter if it was under lock and key).

I did keep notes or codes on calendars for years so I would know what I had done that day. Unfortunately some of the codes make absolutely no sense to me now! But going to back to when I was 19, lived downtown with friends, and we all fake ids is fun to try to decipher what we were doing some nights!

I had a journal from high school... I was ABSOLUTELY CRAZY back then. I read through it every once and a while - then I think about how glad I am that I am no longer crazy, and how amazing my parents were for putting up with me!

I kept a journal when Britt was born... my sister died 3 months later. My last entry was shortly after her death - and 13 years later, I cannot bring myself to open it.

My mom has written in her journal everyday since she was 15. She still has all of them too. It's great because if we can't rememeber what age something happened, she can just look them up in her journals!
