According to some old wives' tale , an itching ear may mean someone is talking or about you. If it is your right ear that itches then good things are being said about you. However, if it is the left ear, it's the opposite. It is just a old tale and is not true. I never heard the ear itching one....just the hand itching one. My right hand was itching yesterday and had to quickly think about what that meant. I was hoping it was my money hand (the left), instead it's my friend hand. Which could also be good - I'm all for meeting someone new!

Never heard the "itching" one, but heard that if it's ringing, someone is talking about you.

Thanks. Because I posted late at night, I ended up googling for the answer. It said an itching right ear means someone is speaking well of me. C'mon, which one of you was it. It also said, if it is the left, someone is speaking poorly of you... AND, if you pinch your ear, it will make that person bite their tongue!

hehehe, I love old wives tales. I also liked the link to the real answers. I always have tinitus. Maybe I have low thyroid... that would explain my new layer of chub.

I was hoping it meant that I had some Oahu sand in my ear and the island was calling me back.
