Here's my problem...in the last 4 years I've worked for 4 different companies. Gasp, right? I had legit reasons for leaving every position, but how/should I address that in a cover letter? Example:
In the past four years I have worked for four different companies. This can be a disadvantage on my resume because it implies a lack of stability. There are valid reasons why I moved on from each position. The Financial Assistant role at Company 1 was eliminated as the company seized global opportunities in India. My decision to relocate from Michigan to Texas made my position at Company 2 short-term. I accepted a part-time temporary job at Company 3. I left Company 4 when I moved again from Round Rock, TX to Temple, TX and decided to spend a year at home.
I imagine hiring managers rolling their eyes and becoming very bored with that story. Any ideas? Should I just leave it all out?
