I wanted to let you know that there is an art show at UT that is about the recent election in Iran. It is really well-done and was curated by a colleague of mine from Iran. I think you might like it.
It's in the FAB Gallery at UT. Here is the website, but it doesn't appear that it has been updated:

Here's more info:
Voices in Green at the FAB Gallerylocated on the lower level of the Doty Fine Arts Building
The University of Texas at AustinThrough March 5Voices in Green is an archival exhibition curated by Art History graduate student Roja Najafi, focusing on art and activism around the Iranian Green Movement.
The exhibition examines creativity in art and activism after the crisis of Iran?s 2009 presidential election. Broadly understood, creativity is not always an artistic product, but in most cases, from mechanical inventions to economic theories, creativity is an imaginative and practical way of implementing action. The exhibition presents documented street protests and graffiti, as well as online posters, videos and sound recordings. Through broad circulation via online networking sites, these creative practices helped activate real and virutal spaces inside Iran and beyond.
Thank you so much for thinking about me! I love to go and see it.
Thanks again!
