Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just a small vent. =)
Today I received an email from one of my moms friends asking why my parents haven't been given "permission" to visit my brother & new niece. She said that it's killing my mother she can't see her grandchild and what was my thoughts on all this.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I am soooo pissed off about this! My mom has had comments on facebook saying I wish I could see my granddaughter before she is grown and walking. I told her to stop acting like a small child. The first couple weeks were insane with them & a new baby. My brother was gone all last weekend at a rodeo.
I don't even want to talk to any of my family right now. Why in the he!l do we need all this drama. I stood up for my brother to my moms friend and said I dont want to be in the middle. For the love of god they live 12 hours away....bad weather...blizzards. If you dont like it move to Florida!
Thanks for letting me vent.....I dont want to say anything to Art because he will probably *** at my mom...causing more drama.

It amazes me how childish grownups can be sometimes. I'm sorry you're being put in the middle, but hold your ground and stay out of the drama!
and I feel like the saying "save the drama for your mama" really applies here now
Why hasn't she seen her grandchild yet? Can't she drive on over and visit?
Parents live in ND, brother lives in Montana. There has been bad weather, brother has been out of town, etc. Weather has played a bigger roll in the whole thing.
